HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - Henrico County Police were called to the 8500 block of Glazebrook Avenue at 1:06 a.m.

When investigators arrived, they found JaJuan Munford, 21, dead from a gunshot wound.

"This is an active investigation and we are looking for any information that can help us," said Henrico County Police Lt. Linda Toney.

Where the shooting happened is behind the Phully Loaded Studios--a recording studio in the county's west end.

The business owner, James Brayboy, said he was inside the venue when an argument broke out behind the studio.

"People with cigarettes...he grazed him with a cigarette and he took it personal," said Brayboy.

For a moment Brayboy said the fighting stopped.  But within moments, the argument resumed.

"It went from zero to 60," explained Brayboy.  "I put them out and the doors were locked, they were outside."

Brayboy said after several people were escorted out, three or four gun shots rang out.

"People are doing what they are doing everyday," said Brayboy.  "For you to open something positive up, something positive, and they turn it into something negative outside then that's a whole different story.  I feel for the kid and everything, but what can you do?"

Lt. Toney said the homicide is the third in the county this year.
