CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va (WTVR)- Chesterfield County high school students will soon have to pay more to park on school property.

The School Board voted Tuesday night to increase student parking fees from 25 to 50 dollars.

It will take effect this coming fall.

The Superintendent’s office says they looked at the school parking fees in surrounding areas before requesting the increase.

They say fifty dollars is not unusually high.
