Flames rip through South Richmond home

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - A dog had to be rescued after flames tore through a  Richmond home.

The fire broke out around 9:30pm Friday night in the 1000 block of Kingsway Road.

Everyone living at the home made it out and there were no injuries.

There has been no word yet on what caused the blaze.

The American Red Cross is helping the seven people who have been displaced by the fire.
