FREE ADMISSION: Free admission as Maymont’s Japanese Garden hosts The Richmond Taiko Drummers Sunday, May 6 in the Japanese Garden at 1:30 and 2:30. FREE SKATE PARK FUN: Free admission, Free skate, free pizza, free t-shirts at the 5th annual Goochland X-treme Sports event on Saturday May 5. FREE ICE SKATING SHOW: SkateNation Plus on Pouncey Tract Rd. presents a free figure skating performance on Saturday May 5 at 5:15-6:30p.m. Donations will be accepted to benefit Isaac, a little boy with a rare illness. Details HERE.
FREE JAZZ: The Virginia Museum has free admission to it’s Jazz Cafe program every Thursday evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Upcoming performances include the Forte Jazz Trio (5/3) and the Jim Branch Quartet (5/10), Against All Odds Band (5/17), Anthony Dowd Quartet (5/24), Skip Gailes Quartet (5?31), Joe Scott w/ Virgil Braxton (6/7) .
