YONGKANG, China (CNN) - A child is nearly run over by a truck at an intersection of a busy street.   The accident happened at 07:26 on April 25 in Yongkang City of east China's Zhejiang Province.

Several primary school students were running across the zebra crossing when a truck loaded with sand and stone swept down the slow-moving girl. The truck veered to one side and crashed into the traffic light pole.

The driver was injured, but the girl crawled out from under the truck sustaining some minor injuries.

The girl's father was very much scared when viewing the video footage that recorded the accident.

"It was quite frightening when I saw the video. I thought she couldn't survive," he said.

The child is now in good condition.
