Hopewell school locked down during drug raid

HOPEWELL, Va. (WTVR) – Hopewell High School was locked down Monday during a drug sweep, said Brian Capaldo, Communications Specialist with Hopewell City Schools.

Capaldo called it a “regularly scheduled” drug sweep. He said the school was placed on lock down to allow police to conduct the sweep.

The results of the drug sweep have not yet been released.
