Could Norwood Teague be leaving VCU?

The Minneapolis Start Tribune  is reporting that VCU’s current Athletic Director is the lone finalist for the AD job at the University of Minnesota.

School President Eric Kaler tweeted tonight that Teague embodies integrity, leadership and management experience, a focus on student athletics and increased VCU’s athletic fund more than 119% and doubled season ticket revenue.

Teague has been the Athletic Director at VCU since 2006.  He’s also worked at UVA, North Carolina and Arizona State.

He is scheduled to visit the Minnesota campus Monday and interview with Kaler.
