Astronaut discusses 7 space flights and new rocket design
CBS 6 news anchor Stephanie Rochon interviews retired NASA astronaut Franklin Chang-Diaz. He is a veteran of seven space flights and has logged over 1,601 hours in space.
He actually flew on the shuttle Discovery before the ship was grounded.
As President and CEO of the company Ad Astra Rocket Company, he is designing a manned rocket with the theoretical capability to get to planet Mars in 39 days.
