RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Richmond restaurant chain Bill's Barbecue is closing five of its eight Central Virginia locations.

The owners are streamlining operations after seeing profits fall.

As a result, the only restaurants that will remain open are the two located on the Boulevard in Richmond and the one near Willow Lawn on West Broad Street in Henrico County.

Twenty employees were let go as a result of the restaurant closings. Another 15 were transferred to the restaurants that remain open.
