FORT LEE, Va. (WTVR) –  All hunting has been stopped on the Fort Lee property because of new Army range safety regulations.

The change prohibits hunting in any place on a base that may have unexploded weapons like bombs, bullets, grenades or shells. That includes all of Fort Lee.

Fort Lee Spokesperson Scott Brown said the shutdown would affect turkey hunting season, which starts this weekend.
