Gas Prices Drop For the 5th Straight Day
RICHMOND, Va (WTVR) – After a steady rise in gas prices we’re starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel. Experts originally expected prices to rise above $4.00 a gallon by the end of summer. However, a recent drop in prices has drivers hoping the trend continues. AAA reports that the national average for a gallon of regular unleaded has dropped to $3.92 a gallon.
This is the 5th straight day experts have seen prices fall. That’s down seven-tenths of a cent.
