HAZMAT spill closes road in Colonial Heights
COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. (WTVR) – A HAZMAT incident has some roads blocked in Colonial Heights. Colonial Heights Police told CBS 6 senior report Wayne Covil that a 40-gallon drum of insecticide fell off a truck and is now leaking.

The clean-up is underway along the 1000 block of Conduit Rd.
Covil tweeted the leaking drum is believed to contain an insecticide to kill fire ants.
Col. Heights fire chief A.G. Moore told Covil clean-up would take a few hours.
