ON YOUR MENU: Easter Bunny Cupcakes

Easter Bunny Cupcakes

1(18.25oz.) strawberry cake mix (or flavor of choice) plus ingredients to prepare
1 (12 oz.) can white whipped frosting
1 tube of thin chocolate or black frosting
16 miniature marshmallows
16 mini Jelly beans (or 8 larger ones cut in half)
Flat stick chewing gum (any flavor)

Bake 16 regular cupcakes and 16 mini cupcakes in paper liner cups, according to box directions and let cool.  Frost the tops of both.

Using kitchen shears or carefully with a knife, cut gum sticks into ear shapes. Pinch gum ‘ears’  into  flat ovals and attach by pressing into top of small cupcake.

On small cupcake, with tube of black or chocolate icing, draw bunny face and put jelly bean for a nose.

Place a miniature cupcake with bunny face onto a large cupcake and secure with a toothpick, for tail dip in frosting and place on large cupcake.

Repeat until you have all cupcakes made into bunnies.
