Car Drives right into James River
RICHMOND, Va (WTVR)- A strange sight for people who were down by Richmond’s eastern river front. A car in the water.
Around 8:30 Monday night in the 3100 block of Water St, near the city’s old intermediate terminal.
Richmond Police tell CBS 6 the driver of the car made a left turn and somehow ended going over the guardrail and into the river.
The vehicle ended up in about four feet of water and officers will leave it there until Tuesday.
The driver was not hurt, and police say no charges will be filed.
