95 years later, Richmond bicycle shop to close doors
Rowlett’s bicycle shop will close after 95 years of service in Richmond. The shop is located just outside the city line on Staples Mill Road.
According to Richmond.com, the store has carried limited stock since at least October 2011.
A call to Rowlett’s confirmed that the store is liquidating all inventories. The website says that everything is on sale, with savings from 15-50 percent off, and more.
The website has the following statement:
AFTER 95 YEARS IN RICHMOND, ROWLETT’S
IS CLOSING ITS DOORS FOR THE LAST TIME.
WE APPRECIATE THE LOYALTY OF OUR LONG-TIME
VALUED CUSTOMERS; HOWEVER
ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END.
THANKS FROM FRED, JAMES, KATE, J.P. AND DENNIS!
