RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Graphic new anti-smoking ads started running today.
The government wants to shock viewers with painful true stories about the effects of tobacco. The graphic images will appear on TV, in print and on social media.
It’s a campaign featuring real tobacco users and their painful stories about the effects of their smoking habit.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention put $54 million into the campaign.
