IU player is called with a flagrant foul. VCU's Graham makes one of two free throws. Rams get the ball back. Rams make a jumper. Rams up 5 points - 38-33.

Refs are looking to see if a IU player elbowed a VCU player  in the face, if so, would be a flagrant foul on IU.

Rams regain the lead. VCU is up 35 - 33 with 3:05 to go in the first half. TV timeout after VCU is called for a foul. ~ Scott

IU Coach Tim Crean says he's confident the way his team will handle the press. IU wins the opening tip and scores. 2-0 IU.
