REPORT: Redskins moving up to draft Robert Griffin III
WASHINGTON, D.C. (WTVR) – The Washington Redskins have agreed to a trade that would give them the second pick in the upcoming NFL draft, reported Jay Glazer on FoxSports.com.
Glazer said the Redskins would use that pick to draft Baylor University quarterback and Heisman trophy winner Robert Griffin III.
The trade cannot be announced until the new league year begins on Tuesday.
The move would seem to indicate the Washington Redskins do not except to sign free agent quarterback Peyton Manning.
