CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) –  Police arrested a man accused of riding a school bus just so he could sell drugs, Chesterfield Police spokeswoman Liz Caroon told CBS 6 News.

Caroon said Vance Russell, 18, boarded the bus to Meadowbrook High School last week to conduct a drug transaction.

Once he got off the bus, a police officer recognized Russell as someone who did not belong at the school. Russell ran, but was eventually arrested by police, Caroon said.

Caroon said police found several bags of marijuana while investigating this incident.

Russell is charged with selling drugs near a school, trespassing and obstruction of justice.
