RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – A group of teachers held a rally outside Richmond City Hall Tuesday evening.
The teachers said they were protesting the Richmond City School budget.
The protesters questioned why so little of the city’s budget goes towards schools, when compared to the budgets of surrounding cities and counties.
They also voiced concerns that it has been four years since their last cost-of-living raise.
