HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - At least four vehicles were seen in ditches off Interstate 295 North near the Route 1 exit, said CBS 6 reporter Shelby Brown.

Brown reported the snow was clear from the interstate, but there were slick spots on the highway.

Charles Preston said he hit black ice and lost control of his truck.

"I was just driving to work and the next thing you know I hit some black ice. We just slid off the road," Preston said. "You can't control it when you're on ice."

Preston said he was not speeding when he ran off the highway.

"I was just trying to re-steady myself and not jerk too much to the left or right," he said, "The next thing you know I'm in the ditch."
