RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – This election year is big for both the Presidential and Congress races.
Democrat Jim Phillips is entering the U.S. Congress race, and would like to represent the his party in the 7th District, which would put him in a run against incumbent, Eric Cantor.
Phillips, a former assistant Attorney General of Virginia and adjunct professor at the University of Richmond says he is ready to try his hand in politics.
