RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Dean Longo is running for U.S. Congress out of Virginia's third congressional district. The third district, which stretches from east Richmond to Norfolk, has been represented by Rep. Bobby Scott, a Democrat, since 1993.
Longo, who is running as a Republican, is a businessman and retired airman.
Longo said if elected he would work to make the country's healthcare system work over a long period of time. He said is focusing his campaign on issues that impact communities, on families and on people.
