RICHMOND, VA (WTVR) – A 26-year-old Chesterfield man was charged Wednesday in connection with an accident that killed a woman outside a Richmond hotel in October.

Paul P. Gray Jr., of the 11900 block of Riverpark Way, was charged with involuntary manslaughter after 23-year-old Josephine Stone was killed outside the Hilton Garden Inn near the intersection of 5th and Broad streets.

Richmond Police said Stone was struck and killed by a car driven by Gray, a valet driver at the hotel.

Stone’s husband John Stone said the couple was days away from celebrating their second wedding anniversary.
