HOPEWELL, VA (WTVR) - Police in Hopewell, Virginia released video Monday morning of a fast food restaurant robbery. Police said the video showed a masked man carrying a gun and a pink backpack into the McDonald's on Oaklawn Boulevard around 5:15 a.m. Saturday morning.

The man stole money from the restaurant's safe and then ran out the front door, according to police. No one was injured during the robbery.

Hopewell Police described the suspect as a black man between 20 and 25 years old. Police said the suspect had a medium build and short haircut. He was last seen wearing a light mask, hooded sweatshirt, grey sweatpants and multi-colored sneakers.
