Monday night deadly shooting victim identified, police seek shooter

HOPEWELL, VA (WTVR) – Detectives continued to search for the person responsible for a deadly January 2, 2012 shooting in Hopewell, Virginia.

Police said they discovered the body of Emil M. Crenshaw, 24, along the 600 block of E. Broadway Street after they were called there to respond to gunshots heard in the area.

Police said Crenshaw, who lived on that block, had been shot in the upper torso.
