More storms with heavy rain possible today

RICHMOND, Va. -- Clouds, showers and drizzle will be with us this morning, then skies will become partly sunny today with a high in the upper 80s. Scattered thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon, with a better chance for storms by early evening. These storms will again pose a flash flooding threat. Storms will develop in some area on Saturday, but drier conditions are expected Sunday. The high will be near 90 each day this weekend.

Highs will return to the low 90s next week, with a daily pattern of showers and thunderstorms.

There are currently no significant tropical disturbances in the Atlantic Basin.
