RICHMOND, Va. -- Today will be mostly cloudy, highs will be in the upper 30s and lower 40s. Scattered showers are possible during the day. There could be some patchy freezing rain in northwestern VA.
Another storm system will bring rain Monday night into Tuesday morning, with over one-half inch possible. Tuesday afternoon will be dry and much warmer. Highs will range from the lower 50s northwest to the lower 60s southeast.
A punch of colder air will move in Tuesday night into Wednesday. Morning lows will be in the low to mid 20s, and afternoon highs will be in the lower 40s under partly cloudy skies.
Yet another storm system will move into the area Thursday. Freezing rain is possible in the morning, but that should transition to plain rain during the day for most areas. Highs will be 35-40 for the metro and northwest, but some 50-degree temps are possible in far southeastern VA.
Scattered showers will linger Friday morning, with dry weather in the afternoon. Highs will be in the lower 50s.
Next weekend is looking dry with sunshine! This would be our first completely dry weekend since January 9-10. Highs will be in the low to mid 40s Saturday, and in the low to mid 50s Sunday.
