RICHMOND, Va. -- An upper-level trough will continue to shift east of the area this evening, allowing more stable weather to set up over the region for the rest of tonight. Tuesday will be dry and milder, with highs in the upper 60s and low 70s. Another strong upper-level trough currently over California and Arizona, will move eastward, bringing strong lift to the area on Wednesday. Rain will overspread the area early Wednesday morning, with rain not ending until the afternoon. The rest of the week appears mostly dry and much warmer, with a slim chance for rain along a warm front on Friday. The weekend currently looks warm and dry. Stay with CBS 6, The Weather Authority.
