RICHMOND, Va. -- A disturbance will continue to produce showers and isolated thunderstorms in the Piedmont and Tidewater through around midnight. Skies will clear between midnight and dawn.

We will have partly cloudy skies Saturday and mostly sunny skies Sunday. Highs will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s.

New Year's Eve night will be dry with temps in the upper 30s as we ring in the New Year.

Next week will be seasonably cool with highs in the 40s to lower 50s. We'll have a slim chance for a shower Thursday.
