RICHMOND, Va. -- Showers and drizzle will be with us early this morning. We'll have another round of scattered showers and a few storms later today as well.
The pattern will become hotter and drier from tomorrow through Friday, with highs returning to the low 90s. There is a Marginal risk for severe weather on Wednesday for the potential for a few strong storms. A cold front will move into the area Friday evening, bringing a push of milder air into the region for the weekend. Saturday and Sunday both look dry right now, with a chance for showers and storms returning to the area on Labor Day.
Tropical Depression Fifteen formed today and is expected to develop into Tropical Storm Nana soon. Another disturbance in the Caribbean could become Omar in the next few days. More can be found in the CBS 6 Interactive Tropical Tracker. Stay with CBS 6, The Weather Authority.
