A warmer Sunday on tap

RICHMOND, Va. -- It will be a cool night, with mainly clear skies and lows ranging from the mid 40s to low 50s.

Sunday will be warmer with a good amount of sunshine and highs in the mid to upper 70s.

An approaching storm will bring increasing cloudiness on Monday, and rain will move in from the west later in the day. A few thunderstorms with gusty winds are possible Monday evening. Highs will range from the mid 70s to low 80s. Showers will be with us overnight into early Tuesday. Then some periods of sunshine will develop with highs Tuesday in the upper 60s.

Wednesday will be partly to mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 60s. Then our next storm will bring a few showers later Thursday, with high rain chances on Friday. Highs will be in the mid 60s. Somewhat unsettled weather will likely stick around to begin next weekend.
