RICHMOND, Va. – The NFL has told all their teams they must hold training camps at team facilities this summer, according to a report from ESPN.
That means the Washington Redskins will not be coming to Richmond for training camp later this year.
This was to be the 8th and final year of the current deal between the Redskins and the City of Richmond to hold camp at the Bon Secours Redskins Training Facility behind the Science Museum.
No immediate word from the team or city officials on how this decision will affect that deal or any future camp appearances by the team in RVA.
