CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- The eighth ranked L.C. Bird Skyhawks defeated the James River Rapids 31-0 on Thursday night in Chesterfield County.
A 28-yard Christopher Showalter field goal kicked off the scoring for the Skyhawks.
Corey Holland followed with a 29-yard touchdown run, his first of two scores.
