RICHMOND, Va. -- It has now been one week since Phase One of Virginia's plan to reopen got underway in much of the Commonwealth.
Richmond-based The Shed, a rental marketplace that provides businesses like gyms and restaurant with the tents, equipment and furniture they need to set up shop outdoors, is helping businesses get back up and running.
"We've been putting together packages so local gyms and country clubs and restaurants can get back to business outside," The Shed CEO Daniel Perroni said.
Perroni says during the pandemic, they have continued in operating and now they want to help other companies looking to reopen, get what they need at a deeply discounted rate.
"We feel really great about that because everybody is ready to go," Perroni said. "Like we're already to get outside and have some level of normalcy while still social distancing and we're providing those solutions."
The Shed’is even putting together kits for businesses that include flooring, chairs, generators, lights and other equipment provided by community partners hoping to help.
"It might be a month it might be three months and we didn't want to put any restrictions on anyone," Perroni said. "So you know whatever we can do during the time period in which they need this, we're here for them."
