RICHMOND, Va. -- Shrimps Restaurant, on W. Brookland Park Boulevard, continues to safely serve customers in Richmond’s Northside.
Owner Carl Smith said business is good, despite having to close down his dining room to customers.
“We've been getting a lot of GrubHub and take-out orders, he said.
In addition to feeding customers and first responders, Smith said Shrimps is also looking out for those in the community who need to eat.
“We have a group of kids in particular that come in every now and then asking for a side of mac and cheese or lemonade or something to eat and we usually take care of our neighborhood kids.”
And about that mac and cheese?
“We sell out of that almost every day,” Smith laughed. “Our cook does a number on it. We specialize in Soul Food.”
Shrimpsis open Monday through Saturday.
