MECHANICSVILLE, Va. -- A new restaurant in Mechanicsville is pairing seafood with Mexican-inspired dishes.
Dashiell Mexican Seafood Bar and Grillon Mechanicsville Turnpike features a variety of seafood dishes like octopus, shrimp, oysters and crab legs. But they also specialize in traditional Mexican favorites like enchiladas, burritos, fajitas and chimichangas.
Managers of the restaurant, which opened in November, said that while launching the business during the pandemic was a challenge, they have been working to make sure their customers have an incredible experience.
“For us the most important thing, it's like good good, good service and a clean place," manager Ellie Catheus said. "That's very important to us."
Dashiell is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
