RICHMOND, Va. -- Black Hand Coffee Co. is back open for business after a prolonged closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The coffee shop is located on the corner of Patterson Avenue and Belmont Avenue in the Museum District.
They offer coffee drinks, tea, kombucha, and breakfast sandwiches.
Like many others, they had to close their doors for the pandemic shutdown.
They reopened slowly, turning their front windows into a walk-up ordering station to keep some social distance between customers and baristas.
They said it's customer loyalty that has helped keep them from closing their doors forever.
Now, they're moving forward with some new drink specials.
"I believe we're having some February flavors coming in that we're really excited for," Claire, a barista at Black Hand, said. "We've been talking about doing a chocolate-covered raspberry latte. Possibly bringing back matcha."
If you have a favorite flavor combo, they said to let them know about it and it might just show up on their special menu.
