RICHMOND, Va. - James “Plunky” Branch would typically be visiting our Virginia This Morning studio for an epic performance that would leave us tapping our toes. With social distancing in effect, our set is truly “everywhere you are.”
Jazz legend Plunky Branch may not be able to perform in his usual locations these days, but he’s performing from a very familiar place - his front porch! Nightly at 7 p.m., he offers a 10-minute concert from his porch. Neighbors gather at safe distances to enjoy the soothing sounds of his saxophone.
