RICHMOND, Va. -- Whether you call it a Charcuterie board or a meat and cheese board, we’ve got some delicious ideas for you to try. Shayne Rogers joins us from her kitchen to share a Shaynefully Delicious display that will keep us snacking in style.

Gather up your meats, cheeses, fruits, and spreads and meet us in the kitchen for some quality control!

Charcuterie Board Ingredients:

  • Prosciutto
  • Salami
  • Capicola
  • Mortadella
  • Brie
  • Goat Cheese
  • Aged Cheddar
  • Walnuts
  • Grapes
  • Olives
  • Pickles
  • Honey
  • large board
  • picks or skewers
  • cocktail napkins
  • cheese knives, one for each different cheese

Charcuterie Board Preparation:

  1. Plan on 4-6 ounces of cured meats per guest and 4 ounces of cheese per guest. If you are serving other items it could be a bit less per person.
  2. Arrange items artfully on board and let come to room temperature before serving. You may want to reserve half of the items and create a second board to bring out when the first board needs to be refreshed.
