WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — All week, Virginia This Morning is taking viewers on virtual visits to popular spots all across the commonwealth.
Today, we travel back in time to Colonial Williamsburg. Although the doors are currently closed to visitors due to COVID-19, they are open virtually.
The living-history museum is keeping fans connected online with an entire webpage full of resources allowing you to “Explore from Home.”
There are several options, including downloading activity pages, trying your hand at cooking an 18th century dish or DIYing a colonial craft.
Colonial Williamsburg has also given virtual visitors a chance to sit in on live chats with Martha Washington and Thomas Jefferson.
The museum says it hopes those exploring from home will learn a little and find some entertainment from the people who bring history to life.
