RICHMOND, Va. -- A strong cold front will move through the area Saturday into Saturday night.
Ahead of the front, highs will be in the 70s and lower 80s. The normal high this time of year is in the upper 60s, and the record high is in the mid 80s.
Scattered showers and storms will turn more numerous into Saturday evening.
The cold front will settle to our south. Energy riding along the front will increase rain chances Saturday night into Sunday.
There will be occasional showers during Sunday. In between the showers, there will be low clouds, fog and drizzle.
Temperatures Sunday morning will be in the low to mid 50s. During the day, temperatures will range from the upper 40s to the mid 50s. It will be a little warmer across far southeastern Virginia.
Highs will warm back into the 70s Monday-Wednesday, before more cool air arrives later in the week.
