RICHMOND, Va. -- Muggy air will stay in place Saturday afternoon with highs of 90° or higher for much of central Virginia. The humidity will make it feel a few degrees hotter.

A cold front will move in from the north and cause widely scattered storms Saturday afternoon and evening.

Not all areas will see storms, but the storms that do pop up will have heavy rainfall, and could contain hail and strong gusts.

Sunday will be cooler with highs in the 80s.

Humidity levels will continue dropping during the day.

Lows Sunday night into Monday morning will be in the 50s to lower 60s.

Highs Monday will be in the low to mid 80s.

It will get back close to 90° on Tuesday and Wednesday as it turns a bit more humid.

Our next chance of showers and storms will be Thursday.
