As the number of confirmed coronavirus cases increases in Virginia, several events scheduled to take place in the coming days and weeks have been canceled.

RICHMOND, Va. -- As the number of confirmed coronavirus cases increases in Virginia, several events scheduled to take place in the coming days and weeks have been canceled.

Canceled Events:

Sesame Street Live! Let’s Party! in South Chesterfield. Was scheduled on April 28 - 29.

St. Paddy’s Palooza postponed. Was scheduled for Saturday, March 14.

Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10kpostponed until September 26 (March 28)

Richmond SPCA's Dog Jog and 5k Run (March 21)

Shamrock The Block (March 14)

Church Hill Irish Festival (March 21-22)

Chesterfield, Henrico, Hanover and Richmond schools have adjusted upcoming field trip and travel procedures in an effort to combat the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus).

Taste Of India 2020 at the Cultural Center in India in Chester (March 21 -22)
