Police ID woman killed in Mosby Court shooting; seek vehicle of interest

RICHMOND, Va. – Police have identified a 27-year-old woman killed in a shooting in Richmond’s Mosby Court neighborhood Monday evening.

Officers responded to a call for a person shot at the corner of Redd and Coalter Streets at approximately 6:23 p.m.

When officers arrived at the scene, they located 27-year-old Kieshell L. Walker lying on the ground, suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to a local hospital where she died from her injuries.

Detectives are seeking information concerning a vehicle of interest seen on video near the scene of the shooting. The vehicle is described as a newer model midsize four-door sedan, silver or gray in color, with a glass panoramic roof.
