Woman critically injured in Richmond shooting

RICHMOND, Va. -- Police are investigating a shooting that left a woman critically injured in Richmond's Church Hill neighborhood Saturday night.

Officers were called at 9:15 p.m. to the 3200 block of P Street for a shooting, according to Capt. Michael A. Snawder with Richmond Police.

"Once on scene they found an adult female suffering from an apparent gunshot wound," Snawder said. "She was transported to a local hospital for a life-threatening injury."

No suspect information nor additional details were available at last check.
