RICHMOND, Va. -- Virginia Dominion Energy customers will see a $6 discount on their bill each month beginning this week.
Starting on May 1, customers will save $6 on future Dominion Energy bills as the result of falling fuel price costs.
"The reduction is driven by the outstanding performance of our generation fleet in Virginia, particularly our combined cycle power stations which provided excellent reliability and affordability to our customers while also reducing carbon emissions by displacing coal," Dominion Energy said in a release on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Dominion is offering short-term payment extensions and long-term payment plans to customers who are having trouble paying their energy bill.
