Virginia DMV to reopen eastern Henrico service center

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) will reopen three additional customer service centers, including an eastern Henrico location.

The service center, located at 5517 South Laburnum Avenue, will reopen by appointment only on Monday, July 20.

The Henrico location and service centers in Jonesville and Wytheville are the latest of 41 offices that have reopened amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

DMV will only offer specific services that generally require an in person visit. These transactions include original driver’s licenses and identification cards, original titles, original vehicle registrations, disabled parking permits and vital records. Appointments for service can be made for 90 days in advance.

East Henrico (5517 South Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231)
Monday through Friday 8 a.m.-6 p.m.; Saturday 8 a.m.-noon

Jonesville (195 Hill Street, Jonesville, VA 24263)
Monday through Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Wytheville (800 East Main Street, Suite 100, Wytheville, VA 24382)
Monday through Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday 8 a.m.-noon
