CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Some Central Virginia counties are offering free tree limb and yard debris collection after Tropical Storm Isaias blew through Virginia.

Chesterfield County

Between Thursday and Sunday, Chesterfield County will be taking in debris at both the Northern Area Convenience Center on Warbro Road and Southern Area Convenience Center on Landfill Drive.

Residents are asked to break down debris into easily manageable sizes and to place bagged leaves and wood chips in proper solid waste containers.

You can drop off during normal business hours.

Hopewell

Officials in Hopewell say residents can either call the Public Works Department (804)-541-2295 to be placed on the pick-up list between August 7 -August 10 or they can drop off debris at the Convenience Center, during normal business hours.

Grass clippings and leaves will not be accepted, during this collection.

Prince George County

In Prince George County, storm debris can be dropped off at the Convenience Site, located at 3100 Union Branch Road. It's requested that debris not be mixed with household wastes or recycling materials.
