Richmond Police identify man whose body was found in a Southside alley

RICHMOND, Va. -- Police have identified the homicide victim whose body was found in a neighborhood alleywayon Richmond's Southside Thursday as 65-year-old Willie Green Jr. of Richmond.

Richmond Police officers were called to the 2000 block of Mansion Avenue for a report of a person down just after 7:40 a.m., officials said

The man had been shot, but the Medical Examiner will determine the exact cause and manner of his death.
